Everyone
always asks me what I do all day (“I never know what she is doing back there…”
– Name that movie!!) And so I just say
Random projects which I think sometimes people think means I don’t do a lot of
anything, sort of like when I tell people I sell headbands for a living and
they think I am weird… So here it is… A
day in the life of ME–
Monday 8:00 AM – Still sleeping. Normally I am up by now. Late night last night –
After dropping everyone off after Jay Z I didn’t get to sleep until like 1:45
which everyone knows is waaay past my bedtime.
8:35 – Riley really wants to go outside as we normally are already up (Despite my Dad's belief that Riley and I sleep all morning we don't)… So I crawl out of bed. Breakfast, find some clothes other than
sweatpants because I told myself I can’t wear sweatpants every day, and working
by 9 on my living room couch. And here is where the randomness
starts…
The rest of the morning – packing up internet orders, dealing
with the department of revenue because my accountant messed up my tax payment…
Sending emails to people who ordered and answering questions from potential
buyers…. Hanging out on Pinterest either pinning BAD Sportz stuff or looking
for ideas for new clothing. Making changes to the race websites and looking up
potential cities and dates for 2014… Creating a flyer for our volleyball
tournament this weekend we are selling at… Checking facebook… A lot of my
facebook time is spent looking at other ads and company pages (And keeping
updated on my 700+ bffs). Basically I live on facebook which is sort of
annoying but sort of a necessity… I then
contact people who responded to help promote and market the races… As you can
see super random!
1:15 – Finally time for lunch. (I like food!!) Fold a load
of laundry and then other random stuff… (I can’t remember, sometimes working from home is distracting...).
1:45 – Head out to ship orders. After mailing packages I
decide it is super nice out so Riley and I head to the Dog Park. We hang out
for about an hour then I drop her off at home and check on a couple of payments
I am waiting on and set up a few of my bills for the month. (My credit card
number was stolen so I have to change all my automatic payments…. Grr…) And do
a little more research…
4:00 – Head to Zorinski and run 5 miles (ok so more like jog). One of my favorite
places!
5:30 - Home, shower,
eat some dinner and then list items on Etsy and Pin them to Pinterest so people can pin them and spread BAD Sportz love all over social media sites of all sorts. (social media overwhelms me!!) Do some
more research, make a list of things I need/want to accomplish this week (If I
don’t write it down I forget) and then finally I look at the clock and it is
10:30. Decide I am going to blog which takes me 20 minutes.

11:07 – BED!!!
So really it was just another random day with random
projects… I love that I never know what
the day is going to bring but at the same time it sort of drives me crazy. Not a lot of structure but I seem to make it work :).
